TRIOS SCANNER
The TRIOS Dental Intraoral Scanner is a hand-held scanning tool designed to provide a 3-D, virtual experience to all patients. This scanner optimizes treatment plans, allowing Dr. Lowry to collect fast, easy, and accurate impressions on the spot.
After seeing an up-close view of your digital impression, it becomes easier than ever to understand the condition of your teeth and identify areas of concern.
DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHS
Dr. Lowry uses digital radiographs, commonly known as dental x-rays, to help identify the overall health of your teeth and surrounding tissues. Digital radiographs are important because they highlight areas of concern that may not be visible by looking at your teeth.
Taking x-rays as necessary are ideal, allowing Dr. Lowry to treat dental problems early on and reduce discomfort associated with certain dental diseases.
ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS
Smile St. Pete Dentistry uses electronic health records to ensure the safety of your personal health information and elevate overall care. Electronic health records are known to contain significantly fewer errors than paper records and they make it easier for Dr. Lowry to follow up and optimize continuing care for each patient.
Electronic health records are a great tool for facilitating communications between physicians in the event that other medical professionals become involved in your treatment plan (such as oral surgery). While your information is stored electronically, all patient information is completely confidential unless authorized otherwise.
